I have two fish pie recipes. They both usually contain cod, shrimp and hard boiled egg with mashed potato on top but then they differ. The first one is what my mother always did. Poach the fish in milk and bay leaves and then use that to make a bechamel sauce with LOTS of chopped curly parsley.
The second one is Jamie Oliver’s, Fantastic Fish Pie. It’s a bit more involved and tends to use every pan in the kitchen but the result is always worth it. Several people have already blogged the recipe and as I seem to have lost mine this came in handy last night.
